Frequently asked questions

Do you have a lunch buffet?
No, we do not. Despite Google's continued insistance that we do, we have not offered a buffet since our move to Marion Rd. in 2019. You are welcome, though, to bring a group of friends, order a variety of dishes, and create your own buffet.
Do you offer catering?
You bet! Anything from an office lunch to a convention for hundreds. Stop in and talk with Arian, or send us an email (below) with your needs.
Is your meat halal?
For now, all of our lamb, beef, and chicken are certified halal. This may change in the near future, due to skyrocketing prices, but we will still make halal available on request, possibly at a premium price.
How spicy is your food?
Many of our dishes ask you to specify a spice level from 1 to 10. If you are not accustomed to spicy food, play it safe with a 2 or 3. If you know you like spicy food, 5 or 6 is generally safe for an American palate. Dishes without a choice of level will usually say in the menu how spicy they are. A side of yogurt will help tame a dish that pushes your limits. Still past your limit? Our goal is your satisfaction—Ask your server about a second chance.
Do you take reservations?
We take reservations for parties of 5 or more. Give us a call during business hours.
Do you have anything for vegans?
Almost all of our vegetarian dishes qualify as vegan. If you want to make sure, don't hesitate to ask when you order.
Do you have gluten-free meals?
Yes! Most of our meals are served with basmati rice, which is gluten free. Our breads (roti, naan) are not gluten-free, but bread is not part of most dishes.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Of course we do. You may buy a gift certificate in any amount from $5 up. It's a great way to show how much you care for your friends and family, and how much you value Khorasan Kabob House.
Why is a restaurant selling carpets?
Hand-knotted heirloom-quality Afghan carpets have been a lifelong passion for Abdul. He loves their colors, their artistry, and their timelessness. Whenever he visits Afghanistan, he can't resist bringing home a few more favorites. He loves the fact that he can offer them to his customers for significantly less than other outlets.
